5 Key Advantages of the EulerX 900 Handheld XRF

01 Fast Results — Non-Destructive Analysis in 1–2 Seconds

The EulerX 900 algorithm perfectly combines the powerful Fundamental Parameters (FP) method with the empirical coefficient method. With a single trigger, the alloy grade is identified within 1–2 seconds; extending the test time by a few more seconds yields full laboratory-level chemical composition results. Unlike destructive testing, samples remain completely undamaged by X-ray — enabling analysis of expensive components, finished products and critical parts without any risk.

02 Accurate Results You Can Rely On — 1,600+ Alloy Grade Library

A high-performance optimized SDD detector with Graphene window and advanced algorithm with <129 eV FWHM resolution deliver elemental analysis results you can trust. With a comprehensive grade library covering more than 1,600 alloy grades — including AISI, DIN, JIS and GB standards — the EulerX 900 series provides superior accuracy in grade identification. Users can modify existing grades, add new grades or build a fully customized library.

03 Easy to Operate Anywhere, Anytime

Ergonomic design, light weight and excellent hand balance make the EulerX 900 ideal for prolonged field use. The tapered test head easily reaches curved or corner parts such as welds, enabling analysis in hard-to-access locations. The high-capacity 7.2V / 6800 mAh Li-ion battery supports 10–12 hours of continuous on-site testing without recharging.

04 Minimal Training & Maintenance Cost

The point-and-shoot design means users need minimal training to get started. The icon-style intuitive interface and Pass/Fail fingerprint function simplify quality control to a single glance. The anti-puncture window design effectively protects the front end of the device. The rugged IP54-rated dustproof and waterproof construction handles demanding field environments with ease.

05 User-Friendly Software & Display

5-inch capacitive colour touch screen (720P, backlit) delivers clear visibility even in direct sunlight and supports operation with gloves. The comprehensive grade library spans over 1,600 alloys across AISI, DIN, JIS and GB standards. Storage capacity exceeds 100,000 test results (32 GB), including spectrograms and sample images.

EulerX 900 vs. EulerX 900S — Which Model Is Right for You?

Feature EulerX 900 EulerX 900S
Standard metal elements (Fe, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pb, Sn, Mo, Nb, etc.)
Heavy metal analysis (W, Re, Ta, Hf, Zr, Se, etc.)
Optimized SDD detector with Graphene window
Light elements: Mg, Al, Si, P, S determination
Aluminium alloy full composition analysis Partial ✔ Full
Si, P, S determination in steel & cast iron
Magnesium alloy analysis

Recommendation: For applications involving aluminium or magnesium alloys, or requiring silicon, phosphorus and sulphur determination in steel, the EulerX 900S model is recommended. The standard EulerX 900 is fully sufficient for steel, stainless steel, copper and nickel alloy analysis.

How Does Portable XRF (HH-XRF) Work?

A handheld XRF spectrometer operates on the principle of X-ray fluorescence. The device emits low-energy X-rays onto the surface of the material being analysed. These X-rays excite the atoms in the material, causing them to emit characteristic secondary (fluorescent) X-rays unique to each element. The detector measures the energy and intensity of these X-rays; the software calculates the type and concentration of each element and displays the results on screen within seconds.
