Sample preparation is one of the most critical steps in an analytical test. This step has a direct impact on the accuracy, precision and reproducibility of the results to be obtained. ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) spectroscopy, one of the elemental analysis methods, requires the sample to be in liquid form and at a certain acid concentration. If the sample is solid, it must first be dissolved into liquid form and diluted with suitable acids. Otherwise, problems such as clogging of the device, incorrect results or low sensitivity will be encountered.

 

SNRG Block works with the acid dissolution technique, which is widely used in ICP analysis. In this method, samples with complex matrices are dismantled and mineralized by reaction with strong acids, making them suitable for analysis. In this way, the elements in the sample are released and can be detected sensitively by the ICP device. SNRG Block allows you to obtain accurate and reliable analysis results thanks to acid dissolution, which can be applied to a wide range of samples.

 

The thermal dissolution system offers a complete solution, available in two configurations to accommodate 12 to 96 samples. With a maximum operating temperature of 240°C, the system provides precise and reliable sample preparation. It features a touchscreen for easy multi-step method programming and real-time monitoring. The system also provides exceptional temperature stability across the coated graphite block, with a variance of only ±1.5°C, ensuring consistent results. It can be paired with tube transfer racks and digiTUBEs for a fully integrated sample preparation workflow.

Easily integrate your SNRG Block™ System into your workflow with the graphite insert accessory. Update your system by quickly changing the insert to accommodate different sample sizes and meet your specific processing needs. Inserts are available for 15 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml tubes. 

 

The SNRG Block™ system uses removable inserts to hold samples and transfer heat. Different inserts can be easily used on a single system, meaning a single block can accommodate three different sample tube sizes. The inserts are made of Teflon-coated graphite for high heat uniformity and strong chemical and corrosion resistance.

Teflon-coated graphite inserts are a preferred material for many industrial applications due to their high temperature resistance, chemical resistance and heat transfer properties.
